Teaching kids to converge with God, connect with people, to complete their lives.

Power Kids exists to help kids get “grounded” in the Word of God, “plugged in” to new life in Jesus Christ, and “powered up” by the Holy Spirit.

“This is a place where you can feel safe, where you are loved, where you can have fun, and where you can grow to be more like Jesus; because when you’re here, you’re home.” – Pastor Dave, Children’s Pastor

Sundays @ 10:30am

Power Kids starts at 10:30am and takes place during the Main Service. We have full services and programs for your kids in our Nursery, Preschool, and Elementary age groups. All of our leaders and team members are background checked and have been pre-screened by our pastoral staff.

We hold special needs kids close to our heart, so we have a dedicated team of professionals who work and remain with your child to help them get acclimated and integrated into our Kids services.

1st Sundays of the Month @ 10:30am

Our Elementary Kids do something special on the first Sunday of every month. We have a BGMC Family Sunday. BGMC stands for Boys and Girls Missionary Challenge. On these Sundays we have a Family Day, which means that all Elementary Kids (Kindergarten – 5th Grade) sit with their family in the Main Service. After the song service, the kids walk around with cups and collect change from our congregation for missionaries. Following this, the Kindergarten through 2nd Grade kids are dismissed to go downstairs for a special BGMC service, while the 3rd through 5th Grade kids remain upstairs with their families.

Wednesdays @ 7:00pm

Nursery care is available for children 2 months to 3 years.

Rainbows (Boys & Girls age 3 – Pre-K)

In the Rainbows Club, preschoolers learn exciting Bible stories and fun new songs. They also earn colorful animal badges. To earn each badge, children must complete the age-appropriate unit activity pages and memorize the unit scripture verse.

SpecialNeedsLogoNEWThe Special Needs Ministry’s goal is to promote full inclusion of those with disabilities in all of Bethel’s ministries and activities. "Sensory Sensitive" services are scheduled quarterly in an effort to increase awareness of a variety of disabilities and what "meaningful inclusion" means. Children with various special needs are fully included in Sunday School, Girls’ Ministry, Royal Rangers, and Power Kids.

A Sunday School class for parents of children with special needs is in its fourth year and is a place where parents can discuss individual issues and talk about frustrations and problems with others who can relate. We have also started to develop a library of resources for parents that include books and materials on siblings of children with disabilities, bullying, helping children achieve social success, autism, learning disabilities, and Down syndrome.

Mpact Girls is about intentional outreach and Christian discipleship for girls. Why just for girls? Gender specific ministry is crucial for developing girls into women of God. Girls are faced with so much confusion and temptation in their daily lives, but in a setting catered to girls they can connect with each other and an older mentor who can invest in them through Bible study and activities.

Our Vision
To see every girl moving toward a deep relationship with Jesus Christ. We seek to empower girls to realize their importance and potential in the kingdom of God.
